It is interesting to speculate why Christians have replaced Jews as the most persecuted religious group. One reason could be that the vast majority of world Jewry lives today in the U.S. and Israel, countries where freedom of religion is respected.

One reason could be that the vast majority of world Jewry lives today in the U.S. and Israel, countries where freedom of religion is respected. Although it is undoubtedly a fact that persecution of Christians is not limited to the Arab world, it is noteworthy that almost no Jews live in that part of the world, having fled or having been expelled from their ancient communities following the establishment of the state of Israel.
