Jerusalem (TPS) – A stabbing attack was attempted on a main road in Jerusalem on Monday evening, January 4, wounding two Israelis including a 15-year-old girl.

According to Israel Police, policemen on Bar Lev road north of the capital’s Old City approached a suspect, when he drew a knife and unsuccessfully attempted to stab them. He then attempted to flee while attacking civilians in his path. After a brief chase the policemen shot him in the legs, effectively neutralizing the threat.
