A police spokesman announced yesterday that three Arabs, residents of east Jerusalem in their early 20’s, were arrested on charges of violation of the directive to prevent terrorism after they filmed the falling of rockets on Ashdod and broadcast the locations of the hits, and by doing so assisted the Hamas in their terror efforts.
The three work at a construction site in Ashdod in which the very tall ‘K Tower’ is being constructed. The building has a commanding view the entire city. When rockets were fired at the city a few days ago one of them filmed the location of where the rockets hit. The three are heard cheering and shouting ‘Allah Akbar’ as the rockets hit their civilian targets.
The police received information about this clip and arrested the three. The phone was recovered and the three implicated themselves. It is prohibited in general to publish in any way the exact location of where rockets hit. The terror organizations use this information for future attacks.
They were charged with violation of the directive to prevent terrorism, racism, incitement, violence and terror. They were released with restricting conditions.
