In my last Rebel video, I spoke about the hijab and the push to normalize it in our culture.

If adult women freely choose to wear the hijab, that’s concerning but essentially their business.

But I get angry when I read propaganda in the form of children’s literature that pushes the hijab on little girls, and I am learning that there are more and more books being written with exactly that objective.

I get especially annoyed when such a book is written by an alleged feminist with political influence.

Like this book: Tilt Your Head, Rosie the Red was written in 2015 by Rosemary McCarney, the former President and CEO of Plan Canada, who is now a Global Affairs representative to the United Nations.

WATCH and I’ll tell you the basic storyline, then explain why it set off my alarm bells.

McCarney doubtless thought she was doing her bit to help Muslim girls find acceptance in Canada. But she is not helping Muslim girls who wish they did not have to wear the hijab, is she?

No, the people she is really helping are virtue-signalling multiculturalist parents and teachers to feel that special glow of righteousness for buying this book and reading it to their children and students.
