Re: Why Gazans Don’t Have Bomb Shelters, Jonathan S. Tobin, July 15.

National Post, July 16, 2014

Here are some hard truths about the war in Gaza:

1 Hamas spends no money on air raid shelters for civilians;

2 at least one in five casualties in Gaza are caused buy misfired Hamas rockets;

3 Hamas continues to send hundreds of rockets into Israel, knowing that Israel will respond militarily;

4 Palestinian statistics claim that the wounded and killed were civilians, not militants;

5 at least one Hamas rocket targeted Ramallah;

6 children are being forced onto rooftops to prevent precision responses to missile launches;

7 hard-core Israel-bashers are crying about the number of Gazan deaths, but not the sure-fire way to end the misery of those living in Gaza — stop the rockets from Hamas.

Clearly, Hamas is trying to get Gazans killed.
