A Christian-owned library in the North Lebanese city of Tripoli was torched after a pamphlet allegedly insulting Islam and Mohammad was discovered inside one of the books. Two-thirds of the Saeh Library’s 80,000 books were destroyed in the fire, including many rare and historic manuscripts. More books were damaged by the water used by firefighters to put out the flames.
