EmailJerusalem (TPS) – Jerusalem’s Committee for Planning and Construction yesterday, announced the approved construction of a new Blue Line light rail route that will run from Jerusalem’s southern neighborhood of Gilo, through downtown Jerusalem to the city’s northwestern neighborhood of Ramot.
“The city’s inhabitants will be able to benefit from less travel time, fewer traffic jams, cleaner air, and a more exciting urban environment,” remarked Jerusalem’s Mayor Nir Barkat.
