Israel, U.S. Import Oil from Iraqi Kurdistan – Julia Payne and Ron Bousso (Reuters)

Israeli and U.S. oil refineries are receiving crude from Iraqi Kurdistan. The U.S. imported its first crude cargo two weeks ago, while at least four have gone to Israel since January, ship tracking and industry sources said. Kurdish crude oil also has been sold to several European buyers.

    The Iraqi government has repeatedly said oil sales bypassing Baghdad are illegal.
