Jerusalem (TPS) – Israel Police apprehended a 16-year-old Palestinian suspected of committing a stabbing attack on a 17-year-old Israeli on January 30 at the Damascus Gate of Jerusalem’s Old City.
The suspect voluntarily turned himself in when he realized that the police were closing in on him. The police are still in pursuit of a second terrorist who also took part in carrying out the attack.
According to the police, two young Jews were walking back from the Western Wall when they were attacked from behind by two Palestinian terrorists. While one of them was hurt in the attack, his friend was able to escape and call for help.
