GENOCIDE AND ENSLAVEMENT INNORTHERN IRAQ
Apr. 8, 2015
The Yezidi are an indigenous Iraqi community of just under one million people. They are Kurmanji speaking monotheists who trace their descent from Adam. The Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham (ISIS) have announced that the Yezidis are infidels and have targeted the Yezidi people and villages for death and destruction. ISIS terrorists usually surround a Yezidi village and then violently threaten the villagers with conversion to Islam at gunpoint. If the villagers show hesitation, they then slaughter the men and sell the women in local slave markets.
