A tourist bus exploded a few hundred meters south of the Tabba checkpoint near Eilat, on the Egyptian side of the border. There are reports of several wounded. The incident appears to be a terrorist attack.

Yoseftal Hospital has declared a state of alert in preparation for the income of casualties, and MDA has moved ambulances to the checkpoint.

The bus was in route for Israel. Initial reports indicate no Israelis were wounded.
