EmailWashington, DC (TPS) – Marking International Holocaust Remembrance Day, US President Barack Obama spoke at Israel’s US Embassy last night at a Yad Vashem ceremony that posthumously honored several non-Jews who risked their lives to save Jews during the Holocaust.
Israel’s Ambassador to the US Ron Dermer expressed his gratitude to President Obama’s attending at the ceremony. “We appreciate the message of friendship that you are conveying by being with us tonight,” said Ambassador Dermer to President Obama.
