What do Bob Rae and Kathy Newman have in Common? Listen to this special report and find out.
The victimization narrative at all costs, is once again at the forefront and will likely be the potential cause of yet another global human rights catastrophe.
Bob Rae has produced two reports on Myanmar. The interim report of December 2017 and the full report of April 2018 are classic examples of progressive narratives which have become typical of the government of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. Nothing in either of his reports identifies the actual problems or the history that brought us to where we are.
Neither of the reports even mentions Harakat-ul-Jihad-al-Islami Arakan in which was formed in Pakistan back in 1988. The goal of this group, active there now, was to liberate the Muslim-dominated Burmese state of Rakhine. Nothing in either report mentions at all that Burmese are terrified of the spread of extremist Islam thought out south east Asia. Nothing in the report mentions the previous campaigns of terror ongoing for decades.
