Palestinians elected a terrorist as mayor of the Palestinian section of Hebron, the largest city in the West Bank.
Tayseer Abu Sneineh, who ran on Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas’s Fatah party ticket, attacked a group of Jewish students who were walking back from praying on Friday night, the Jewish Sabbath, from the Cave of the Patriarchs in 1980.
Sneineh, along with three other Palestinian terrorists, opened fire and threw grenades on the students. Six people, including two Americans and one Canadian, were killed in the attack, which also left 20 wounded.
