A Palestinian terrorist came running to the Jerusalem Border Police checkpoint carrying a knife. A Border Police Officer who identified the security threat shot and killed him. In another incident that day, a Palestinian terrorist was shot after using a pistol.

A Palestinian terrorist tried to stab a Border Police Officer in Abu Dis in Jerusalem. The Palestinian terrorist was shot by the Israeli Border police, badly wounded and pronounced dead. None of the Border Police officers were hurt. Israeli forces scoured the scene for explosives.
The officer at the security checkpoint where the incident occurred, Major Talal Hassan, stated that “at the beginning, the Border Police received information about a vehicle that was involved in a drug deal and therefore decided to stop our checks.” During the inspection, a vehicle sped to the security checkpoint and another one in the same direction. The car was stopped by the soldiers, who at the same time were securing the checkpoint and looking at the vehicle.
Inside the vehicle, a Palestinian terrorist in his twenties carrying a knife started to run towards the soldiers. One of the Border Policemen identified the suspect and ordered him to stop in Arabic. When he didn’t stop, the Border Policeman shooting at short distance managed to neutralize the threat. The Border Policemen weren’t injured thanks to his alertness.
Tipuach Junction: IDF kills Palestinian terrorist
Another incident occurred Thursday night in Tipuach Junction, where a Palestinian terrorist fired his pistol at an Israeli bus stop. According to preliminary investigations, the shots caused great panic, which led to an Israeli soldier shooting the terrorist to death. Initial investigations confirm that the Palestinian fired his pistalat the bus stop where Eviatar Borowsky was murdered seven months ago.
The Central Command officer stated in regards to the shooting incident: “This terrorist tried to shoot an improvised weapon. Two soldiers from the Shaked Battalion and two Border Policemen managed to stop the suspect, shoot him and kill him.” Witnesses at the scene of the crime stated that there was tension after the gunshots were heard. “I saw the bomber run towards us and start shooting,” Osher Hoffman stated. “At first, I thought it was an exercise. I ran to hide behind the station. Very shortly the Border Police shot the terrorist and killed him.”
