Election seen as a bid by King Abdullah II to revitalize the kingdom’s economy and politics

AMMAN—For the first time in nearly a decade, the Muslim Brotherhood contested parliamentary elections in Jordan on Tuesday in voting seen as a bid by the kingdom’s pro-Western monarch to bolster public confidence in government and revive the flagging economy.
