Israeli shekel emerges as world’s 2nd-strongest currency (Israel Hayom)

Shekel has risen 6.1% against the major currencies over the past 12 months and is nearing historically high levels, says Germany’s Deutsche Bank • Bank of Israel expected to intervene in forex trade in coming weeks to depreciate shekel and help exports.
