Israel Hayom is shocked by the unabashed anti-Semitism of the organizers of the Copenhagen Jazz Festival as expressed in their refusal to host an Israeli artist at the festival, and states: “In several places in Europe, along with the hatred of Israel, locals are developing a forgiving attitude that borders on affection toward the hatred of Israel among Islamic extremists.” The author points out that “As long as the Old World is cruel to merciful Israel, so too, does it pity Israel’s cruel enemies,” and adds: “Too many European officials turn a blind eye to the trampling of human rights taking place every day in dozens of Islamic countries. When those who raise the banner of justice choose to harass us, the only democracy in the region, they embolden all the true oppressors of freedom in the Middle East.”
